Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Dried cherry, figs, milk chocolate, cayenne pepper, dried sweet herbs with a touch of
sweet vanilla. Red fruit flavors excite the palate on the entry and a deep earthy spice
carries through the mid-palate. The finish is long with hefty, yet elegant structure.
There is definitely a reason so many love Washington state Merlot and this is a great
example of why.

This wine starts with dark fruit, cocoa and spices, like the cinnamon touch. With the strong tannins and balanced acidity, this was a very enjoyable wine. Only problem is I finished it too soon.

One of my favorite wines from Ambassador's 2014 vintage. Smooth and sultry. Loaded with dark fruit, anise and spice. Excellent with Roasted meats. My Favorite was paired with Lamb chops. Elegant finish

I cannot top the two reviewers who rated this in 2019. It is definitely one of my favorites, but I could say that about the Syrah, Envoy and other Ambassador wines, as well because I am a big fan. I, too, finished the 2014 Merlot bottles I purchased too soon, so went on-line to order some more! Love Ambassador Wine's tasting room and cannot wait to return so I can find more favorites. It's always an enjoyable experience there and I've never left without finding something I loved.
